Some moments deserve more than a camera roll.

A small round tag you can hold. Touch it to any phone and your archive opens — the photographs, the words you wrote under them, the day and the place it happened. No app to install.

How it works

Six steps — and then it’s yours to change.

You fill your own tag. We never handle your photographs, and you never wait on us to update them.

I

Get your tag

Order it from us and it arrives with its own unique ID and a password. Those two are what you use to log in to your tag's personal admin panel — nobody else has them.

II

Choose your design

Pick one of the four faces, or send us your own. It's just the outside — every design runs the same tag underneath.

See the four designs

III

Log in to your admin panel

Go to the address below on any phone or laptop, and sign in with the ID and password that came with your tag. No account to create, no app to download — it's a web page.

solomemorytag.com/admin

IV

Upload your own memories

Add the photographs yourself, and write the caption, the date and the place under each one. You can change your password here too — the tag's ID never changes, so the tag itself always keeps working.

V

Lock it, or leave it open

One switch. Leave it open and anyone you hand the tag to can view it. Lock it and a visitor just has to type your password before anything appears — no ID, nothing else to remember.

VI

Tap — and keep changing it

Any update you make in the panel appears on the tag instantly — the next tap opens the new version, automatically. Swap the photographs, rewrite a caption, change the password, lock or unlock it, as often as you like.

Who it's for

Made for the people you keep.

One tag, however you'd fill it. Most people start with the person they'd hate to lose the photographs of.

For couples

The years, kept somewhere they can be held

“One tag. Every anniversary, a little longer to scroll.”

The first trip. The flat with the bad kitchen. The ordinary Tuesday you both still bring up. Add to the same tag each year and watch how much it ends up holding.

For friends

The group chat, finally somewhere permanent

“You had to be there. Now they can be.”

Birthdays, road trips, the reunion that took four years to schedule. Put one on each of their keyrings and the night stops living in a chat that scrolls away.

For special days

Some of the best moments of your life, kept whole

“Not the highlight reel. The whole day.”

A wedding, a graduation, the day a baby came home. Too big for one photo and too easy to lose across a hundred people's cameras — a tag holds the whole thing in one place.

Give a trip an address

“Goa, 2024 — the whole of it, in a pocket.”

Tickets fade, phones get replaced, folders get buried. A travel tag holds the route, the photographs and the small notes you'd otherwise forget you wrote.

For goodbyes

A goodbye tag, not just goodbye tears

“Everyone cries at the farewell. Only one thing is still there after.”

The last day at a job, a hostel room, a city. Instead of a card that gets thrown away, a tag everyone who was there can still open — and still add to.

For the one story

The one you already know you'll tell tonight

“You've told this one at every party since 2019.”

The moment that still makes you laugh mid-sentence, the one people ask for by name. Keep the photo that proves it actually happened, right where the story lives.

A shared album is a link. A link gets buried under four hundred messages by Thursday.
A tag sits on your keys and waits to be picked up.

Everything digital about your memories stays digital — but the way in is a physical object, on a keyring, a bag, a photo frame, a gift box.

Works on every phone

One side taps. The other scans.

Not every phone reads NFC — older handsets don’t, some budget ones don’t, and plenty of people have it switched off. So the back of every tag is printed with a code that opens the very same archive.

The front

Tap it

The face you chose, with the chip set invisibly behind it. Hold the tag to the back of a phone and the archive opens on its own — no app, nothing to press, nothing to type.

The back

Scan it

The same archive, printed as a code. Point any phone camera at it and the page opens — no NFC needed, no setting to find. It's on every tag we make, whether you ask for it or not.

Two sides · one archive · nothing to install either way

Before you order

The things people ask first

Everything below is how the tag actually behaves — not how we'd like it to sound.

What is a Memory Tag?

Memory Tag is a small physical NFC keychain tag. Hold it to the back of a phone and it opens a private web page of photographs you chose, each with the caption, date and place you wrote under it. There is no app to install on either side.

Do I need to install an app to use it?

No. The tag opens an ordinary web page, so any modern phone browser can display it. Neither the owner nor the person tapping the tag installs anything.

What if a phone does not have NFC?

Every tag carries a scannable code printed on the back. Older and some budget handsets cannot read NFC, so the reverse face works with any phone camera instead. One side taps, the other scans.

Can anyone who finds the tag see my photos?

Only if you leave it open. A single switch in your panel locks the tag, and a visitor must then type your password before anything appears. When it is locked the photographs are withheld by the server, not merely hidden in the page.

How many photos can one Memory Tag hold?

Up to 15 photographs per tag, each up to 25 MB. Your original file is stored exactly as uploaded and is never re-compressed.

Can I change the photos after I receive the tag?

Yes, as often as you like. You sign in with the ID and password that came in the box, and any change appears on the next tap immediately. The tag's ID never changes, so the physical tag keeps working forever.

Does the Memory Tag need charging or a battery?

No. NFC tags draw the small amount of power they need from the phone reading them, so there is nothing to charge and no battery to replace.

Where does Memory Tag ship and what does it cost?

Memory Tag ships across India for ₹1, shipping included. It comes in four designs and is dispatched with its own printed ID and password.
