Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to make and deliver your tag, and to let you manage the archive on it. Your photographs are yours. We do not sell them, share them, publish them, or use them to train anything. Tag pages are excluded from search engines and are never linked from our site.

What we collect

Three separate things, for three separate reasons.

• Order details — your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. We need these to charge you correctly, to print a shipping label, and to send you your tag credentials and tracking link.
• Your archive — the photographs you upload and the captions, dates and places you write under them. These exist to be displayed by your tag and for no other purpose.
• Account credentials — your tag ID and password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, so it cannot be read back by us or by anyone who obtained our records.

We do not collect your date of birth, your government identifiers, your location, or your contacts. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site.

Payment information

We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway, on their own systems. What reaches us is a payment reference and whether the payment succeeded — nothing that could be used to charge you again.

How your photographs are protected

• Everything is served over HTTPS, so nothing travels in the clear.
• Photographs are held in private storage with no public address of its own. There is no link to your image that works without passing through our access check first.
• Every request for an image is checked against your tag’s lock state before any data is sent. When a tag is locked the server withholds the file — it is not merely hidden in the page, so it cannot be recovered by inspecting the website.
• Tag pages carry a no-index instruction and are excluded in robots.txt, so search engines do not list them.

Who we share it with

Only the parties who are physically necessary to fulfil your order, and only the fields they need:

• Razorpay — to take payment. They receive your name, email and phone.
• Shiprocket and the courier — to deliver your parcel. They receive your name, phone and delivery address.
• Resend — to send order confirmations, tag credentials and tracking emails. They receive your email address.
• Cloudflare — our hosting and storage provider, which holds the data on our behalf.

None of them receive your photographs except Cloudflare, which stores them for us and does not access them. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, for any purpose, ever. We will disclose information only if we are legally compelled to by a valid order under Indian law.

How long we keep it

Your archive is kept for as long as your tag is in use, because deleting it would break the product you bought. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. When you ask us to delete your archive we delete the stored files themselves, not merely the links to them, and we confirm when it is done.

Your rights

You can, at any time and without giving a reason:

• See everything we hold about you — ask and we will send it.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete any photograph yourself from your panel, or ask us to erase the entire archive.
• Withdraw consent and have your account closed.

Write to support@solomemorytag.com from the email address you ordered with. We respond within 7 working days.

Cookies

We use one cookie, and only after you sign in: a session cookie that keeps you logged into your panel. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and there is nothing to consent to because we do not set anything else.

Children

This store is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from a child. If you believe a child has given us information, write to support@solomemorytag.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers are also sent by email.
