Terms of Service

Who you are buying from

Memory Tag is sold by SoLo Memory Tag, a sole proprietorship registered under Udyam UDYAM-MH-26-1202892, with its registered place of business at E6, E wing, Punya Nagri Housing Society, Bibvewadi, Pune, Maharashtra 411037, India. In these terms “we” and “us” mean that business, and “you” means the person placing the order.

What you are buying

A physical NFC keychain tag, priced at ₹299 with shipping included, supplied with a printed tag ID and password, together with a hosted personal web page that the tag opens. The price covers the tag and the hosting of your archive. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Your account and your password

• The credentials that come in the box are yours to keep safe. Anyone holding them can change your archive.
• Change the supplied password to one of your own after you first sign in.
• We cannot recover a password because we never store a readable copy of it. We can verify you and issue a new one — see the Privacy Policy for how.
• You are responsible for activity carried out using your credentials.

What you may not upload

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and to display it when your tag is tapped. You agree not to upload:

• Anything unlawful under Indian law.
• Anything you do not have the right to use, including someone else’s copyrighted work.
• Photographs of another identifiable person published without their consent.
• Sexual content involving minors, or content promoting violence or hatred against any group.

We do not monitor archives and we do not look at your photographs. If content of this kind is reported to us we will investigate and may lock or remove the tag. Where the law requires it we will report it.

Availability

We work to keep tag pages reachable at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, a hosting failure or a network fault can make a tag temporarily unreadable. We are not liable for losses arising from a temporary interruption.

Keep your own copies

Memory Tag is a way to share your photographs, not a backup service. Please keep your own originals. We take reasonable care of what you upload but we cannot be the only copy of an irreplaceable photograph.

Our liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected by anything in these terms.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using your tag and ask us to erase your archive at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where the breach is not serious we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
